Produce Pro handoff · PlentyOrder

Produce orders, resolved first, then handed off to Produce Pro.

Produce orders arrive as “4 limes, 2 cilantro, romas.” Built to resolve the counts, packs and shorts on the ticket first, then hand off each approved order as an import file or CSV with your item codes, ready for the way you bring orders into Produce Pro.

The problem

Why produce orders need resolving before they’re keyed

01

Missing units

Most produce texts skip the unit. Resolving it on the ticket, from the account’s history and labeled, means the import file carries real units instead of a guess made while typing.

02

Shorts before the import

If romaine is out, the sub is decided at the desk. The import file carries the green leaf line, marked as a sub, not a romaine line that fails at picking.

03

Early cutoffs

Produce routes leave early. Orders written up overnight are ready to approve and export when the desk opens.

How it works

How the handoff to Produce Pro works

  1. 01Setup

    Upload items and customers

A CSV export of your items, pack sizes, prices and customer accounts.

  2. 02Pre-dawn

    Orders are resolved

Units are filled and labeled, shorts are flagged, and subs are proposed.

  3. 03Morning

    Approve

A person approves each order and the sub decisions.

  4. 04Export

    Import file or CSV

Approved orders are exported in the format your Produce Pro import expects, confirmed at setup.

FAQ

Questions about the Produce Pro handoff.

Is this an official Produce Pro integration?

No. PlentyOrder isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the maker of Produce Pro. It’s built to hand off approved orders as a file your Produce Pro setup can import, or as a CSV. During setup we confirm the exact import format with your team.

Does anything reach my system without approval?

No. Only orders a person has approved are exported. Drafts, flagged orders and rejected lines never leave the desk.

Can it use my Produce Pro item codes?

Yes. Lines use the item codes from the price list you export and upload, so the handoff file matches your items.

Available by request

See it on your own orders.

Fifteen minutes is enough to run a few of your real messages through it, against your own price list.

The restaurant, people and order on this page are fictional sample data. Produce Pro is a trademark of its owner. PlentyOrder is not affiliated with or endorsed by it.
